At the end of year 2015, a distinctive building complex on Dziadoszańska Street in Poznań – largest in this part of Europe, state-of-the-art data center of Beyond.pl, has been formally handed-over to the client.

The complex consists of 2 functionally related parts: the data center itself, and the logistics and office building, connected by two glass bridges overhanging the driveway and a uniquely designed concrete underpass. There is also a separated route winding inside the facility, designed to present visitors with the most relevant zones and systems, specific to the facility’s functions.

The form of the buildings, as well as the visual articulation of their facades, harmonize with their modern functions. The data center appears sturdy and secure, yet lightweight, thanks to use of a steel mesh cladding, while the architecture of the office building’s facades refers to elements of computer systems and utilizes a deconstructed variation of the Investor’s logo, accentuated by illumination.

The architecture of the Data Center and all the systems it is equipped with responds to the extremely high security requirements for the data stored there. The building is guarded by a 3-meter high concrete wall and dozens of cameras and access control points. It runs on two state-of-the-art 14 MW power supply tracks and its 8 server chambers can accommodate up to 100,000 servers. Offices, on the other hand, are able to accommodate up to 100 IT employees.
