Biomass-fired Combined Heat and Power Plant

Location
Runowo Pomorskie, Poland
Project
2022
Realization
2023
Area
800 m²

The biomass-fired cogeneration plant in Runowo Pomorskie is designed with an electric output of approximately 1.5 MW and thermal capacity of 4.5 MW. The facility is built to efficiently generate electricity and heat from renewable wood biomass, thereby reducing the use of fossil fuels and CO₂ emissions.

As part of the execution, the detailed design of the cogeneration boiler plant was developed and author's supervision over implementation works was provided. The installation will form part of the local district-heating system and serves as an example of an environmentally responsible energy-generation unit in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship.

Scope of Work:

combined heat and power plant (CHP plant)
electrical capacity: 1.5 MW
thermal capacity: 4.5 MW
detailed design
architectural supervision
